MLB is full of young, fresh blood when it comes to impact players and prospects.
The 2022 campaign saw a few of these future stars make their case as present contributors: Julio Rodriguez, Michael Harris II, Spencer Strider, Adley Rutschman, Steven Kwan, Brendan Donovan, Bobby Witt Jr., and many more players showed why they were all prized prospects not so long ago.
With the 2022 season already in the books, it’s time to look into 2023.
Who will be the ones taking over the league next year?

In the AL East, the Baltimore Orioles’ Gunnar Henderson already offered a glimpse of his enormous potential, while Triston Casas and Anthony Volpe could be the next names to watch in the Boston Red Sox – New York Yankees rivalry.
Lots Of Names To Follow
Oscar Colas and Bo Naylor, Josh’s brother, are exciting names to follow in the AL Central, while we already saw what Houston Astros young star Hunter Brown can do on a major league mound.
Josh Jung, who plays for the Texas Rangers, could be a future slugger.
When it comes to pitchers, there may not be a better prospect than the Miami Marlins’ Eury Perez.
He is not a lock to contribute in 2023, but should be ready at some point next season.
The St. Louis Cardinals refused to deal Jordan Walker as part of the Juan Soto package and it’s easy to see why: he could be a factor in 2023.
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is as tools and as they come, while Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Miguel Vargas could be Justin Turner’s natural replacement.
All of them have a chance at superstardom, and are early favorites to win 2023’s Rookie of the Year awards.
