The World Baseball Classic is just five days away.
Things will get underway this coming Wednesday.
And so, the time has come to see which country truly has the best and most elite baseball stars in this fun tournament.
The WBC is returning for the first time since 2017 after COVID-19 put a dent in MLB’s plans back in 2021.
But with the pandemic waning, it’s time to get ready for the next Classic.
On Twitter, the official page of the WBC tweeted a list of the Top 10 teams competing in the Classic courtesy of MLB.com ahead of the epic collision course.

The Dominican Republic is ranked at the top, and it’s easy to see why.
Stars such as Manny Machado, Jeremy Pena, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Juan Soto, Rafael Devers, Julio Rodriguez, and Wander Franco will team up with the Dominican National Team.
On the pitching side, starters such as Cristian Javier, Luis Garcia, Johnny Cueto, and reigning National League Cy Young Sandy Alcantara are featured.
The team will be managed by Rodney Linares, the bench coach for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Team USA is ranked second.
They will be led by former MLB star Mark DeRosa.
That team features stars such as Nolan Arenado, reigning MVP Paul Goldschmidt, Trea Turner, Mookie Betts, Pete Alonso, Jeff McNeil, Mike Trout, Kyle Tucker, and Kyle Schwarber.
On the pitching side, they’ll have Adam Wainwright, Merrill Kelly, Miles Mikolas, Brady Singer, and Kyle Freeland to round out the starting rotation.
The Classic is almost here and things are getting exciting.
