As we enter the second day of spring training, the excitement among fans and players is only growing.
As each day passes, we get closer and closer to the start of not only the World Baseball Classic, but the 2023 MLB season.
Things will look a little bit different this year with a few new rules in place and a couple of star players having retired at the end of last season.
But either way, baseball is back, and the energy is palpable.

Spring is in the air indeed.
It’s been over three months since we’ve seen any MLB action.
But that is soon to change as teams report to camp and prepare for the 2023 season.
The 2022 season was a treat, but 2023 promises to be just as exciting as we move closer to the start of games.
Spring training games will get underway on Friday, February 24.
On March 8, the World Baseball Classic will get underway as it returns after a six-year hiatus and a COVID-related postponement in 2021.
But once that comes to an end, Opening Day will be here.
That will take place on March 30.
For now, the excitement of spring training will get us by, but there are bigger and better things awaiting us as the ice and snow melt and the weather gets warmer.
Around the game, there is nothing but excitement as a new season approaches.
