Friday was a big day, as MLB teams and their players exchanged arbitration salary figures in hopes of reaching deals for the upcoming 2023 season.
Several deals were reached ahead of the deadline.
However, some will have to prepare for arbitration hearings.
But some players came away with good amounts of money on Friday.
On Twitter, Bob Nightengale of USA Today made a list of some of the players who saw the most significant raises.
On the list are pitchers Jordan Montgomery ($10 million), Dylan Cease ($5.7 million), Zac Gallen ($5.6 million), and Julio Urias ($14.25 million).
Philadelphia Phillies slugger Rhys Hoskins was also on the list and earned $12 million.

These are some pretty significant raises.
Urias received the biggest one of them all.
But Hoskins and Montgomery also received some significant raises.
Montgomery is an interesting case.
He was acquired by the St. Louis Cardinals at the trade deadline from the New York Yankees and is set to potentially enter free agency this offseason.
This could set him up for a solid deal in free agency or a nice extension with the Cardinals, who will certainly look to extend him, given that Steven Matz is their only starter under contract for 2024.
As for Cease and Gallen, their raises could set them up quite nicely when they finally hit free agency and set the stage for large contracts.
Juan Soto had the most significant raise, as he ultimately is earning $23 million in 2023 and is potentially set up for more in 2024.
He’ll enter free agency in 2025.
