Changes are forthcoming for Major League Baseball.

But it’s not just for new rules that are now in place.

This year, MLB fans are going to have the opportunity to enhance their baseball TV watching experience.

Minor League games can now be streamed on MLB.com.

Fans will have the opportunity to stream 7,000 out-of-market minor league games and can watch through the “At Bat” app and on MLB TV.

Blackouts and other restrictions will still apply for games that are within or in close proximity to the user’s market.

On Twitter, the official account of minor league baseball announced the news of this recent development.

While blackout restrictions remain a problem, this is still an exciting development for the game of baseball as it pertains to the minor leagues.

Just last year, MiLB.com provided links to stream certain minor league games.

This year, MLB and MiLB are taking it a step further and will be making minor league games available on MLB TV and the At-Bat app.

This is an exciting opportunity for the game to grow and expand its reach to fans in other areas, especially those without professional baseball teams.

For fans of certain teams that may live in other areas, this will provide another opportunity to see some more baseball games.

Again, blackout restrictions do apply and will affect fans in certain markets, as in-market games are not accessible on MLB TV.

However, it’s still an exciting opportunity for baseball to expand its reach and show more games on MLB.com.
