With Opening Day just one day away, now is a perfect time to make some predictions for how the 2023 MLB season will play out.
There are 30 teams, but only 12 of them will ultimately reach the postseason, with spots for three division winners and three Wild Card teams in each league.
On Wednesday, MLB Network reporter Alanna Rizzo made some picks for the 2023 season in terms of who will win each division.
In the American League, she predicted that there will be two new division winners and that things would change a bit from 2022.
The video of her predictions can be seen in the tweet below.

Firstly, Rizzo picked the Toronto Blue Jays to take home the AL East title.
That division was won by the New York Yankees last season, with Toronto finishing seven games behind the Bronx Bombers.
Rizzo praised the team for their deep lineup that consists of Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Brandon Belt, Cavan Biggio, Bo Bichette, Matt Chapman, George Springer, and Whit Merrifield.
She also mentioned Daulton Varsho, who was acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Toronto has yet to win a playoff game since 2016, but Rizzo believes that they are the team to beat in the AL East.
Toronto also has a good starting rotation that features Alek Manoah, Kevin Gausman, Jose Berrios, and Chris Bassitt.
Rizzo then mentioned the Chicago White Sox and predicted them to win the AL Central.
They were a team that was decimated by injuries last season.
However, they signed Andrew Benintendi and Mike Clevinger.
Rizzo says that if they stay healthy, they can be a dangerous team.
