Spring training is officially here and we can finally say goodbye to the offseason.
However, there are a few viable free agents still on the market.
Players such as Michael Wacha, Matt Moore, Jurickson Profar, and Elvis Andrus are a few notable free agents that remain unsigned.
With that in mind, it appears that free agency is going to stretch into spring training.
Most of the major free agents signed in December or earlier, but that doesn’t mean some teams can’t cash in on a few under-the-radar stars.
On Twitter, MLB writer Craig Teed noted that it was odd to see certain players still unsigned with spring training here and Opening Day right around the corner.
It’s kinda wild that Michael Wacha, Andrew Chafin, Matt Moore, Jurickson Profar, and Elvis Andrus (among others) are still free agents.

Andrew Chafin of course signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday for one year and $6.5 million.
Still, he is the only one listed in the tweet that now has found a new home.
Wacha, Andrus, Profar, and Moore still have not signed yet.
And so, free agency continues into spring training.
It’s anybody’s guess as to where some of these stars will end up.
There have been few rumors about the remaining free agents and where they might end up signing.
The Baltimore Orioles were said to have been interested in Wacha, but he still remains on the market, and there hasn’t been much news about him, as well as the others.
As of now, these stars will have to wait and see if they can get anything as Opening Day approaches.
The season will begin on March 30.
