The Dallas Cowboys need to add players this offseason.
Whether through free agency, trade, or the draft, they need a few more impact players to take the next step.
One spot they will certainly be looking to add help is at wide receiver.
But, defensive star Micah Parsons thinks the Cowboys should be looking to add another defender.
In an interview this past week, Parsons said the Cowboys should add Daron Payne.
Not only would they be taking Payne away from their rival, but he would help sure up their defensive line.

The chances that Payne hits the open market this offseason are slim.
Even if the Commanders can’t get a deal done with him, he’s good enough to receive the franchise tag.
Dallas struggled against the run last season, so adding another defensive lineman should be a priority.
Also, Payne in the middle could help free up Parsons, and DeMarcus Lawrence to rush on the edges.
Even if they do not get Payne, the Cowboys should be looking to fortify their defense.
They could use a defensive tackle and cornerback.
It will be interesting to see how Dallas approaches this offseason.
They have never been a team known for spending big on other teams’ free agents.
But, that has to be on the table this offseason.
Looking at what the Eagles did this past offseason, all of their moves helped lead them to the Super Bowl.
It is time for the Cowboys to be aggressive in free agency and via trades to create a championship-caliber roster.
