The departure of Dorian Finney-Smith to Brooklyn as part of the trade for Kyrie Irving has made defense the top priority for Dallas management during the market close. According to the journalist yahoo sports, Vincent Goodwill, the Mavericks are negotiating with the 76ers for the addition of Matisse Thybulle.
The management of Philly has been listening to offers for Thybulle for several weeks and since The Philadelphia Inquirer they take their exit for granted. Likewise, the 76ers are also working on closing two operations for Furkan Korkmaz, who has requested the transfer, and Jaden Springer.
Thybulle draws a huge bill in the NBA as one of the best outside defenders in the competition. However, his lack of offensive development has not only limited his production but has even stalled his establishment in the league. This season he’s just averaging 2.7 points and 12.1 minutes per game.
