Matt Ryan, recently cut by the Los Angeles Lakers, has found a new destination in the NBA: Minnesota Timberwolves. According to sources from journalist Shams Charania of The Athletic, the 25-year-old forward has sealed a new dual commitment to the franchise led by Tim Connelly.
After not being selected by any team in the past Draft 2020, he spent a blank year due to the pandemic where he worked as a delivery man for DoorDash and UberEats. However, he did not throw in the towel and in the following edition of the Summer Leagues he joined the ranks of the Cleveland Cavaliers to later play in the Grand Rapid Gold of the G League.
In February 2022, he agreed to a dual contract with the Boston Celtics, and in September of that same year he would sign with the Los Angeles Lakers as a free agent, playing 12 official games with them with figures of 3.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in 10 8 minutes per day.
