Karl-Anthony Towns could have the hours counted in Minnesota

Karl-Anthony Towns’ situation in Minnesota is far from clear. Since the Timberwolves were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by Denver, there has been talk of a possible revolution in the Wolves and how it is now could have as its main movement the goodbye of one of its centers: Rudy Gobert or the aforementioned Towns.

The scenario invites such a path to be the most logical. On an economic level, they are two of the biggest contracts they have, since the third, that of Anthony Edwards, is simply untouchable as he is the player they want to build on. Then, with regard to the basically sporting element, they understand that the experiment with two big men is unsuccessful, since they have not been able to enhance the qualities of Towns in any case, the main objective of the great transfer that they closed last summer with the Utah Jazz.

Having to release one of his centersaccording to Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report Timberwolves are determined to trade Karl-Anthony Towns; so much so that he affirms that according to his sources it is a movement that will take place in the coming weeks.

Being true to reality, Towns suffered a significant injury this season that has only allowed him to play 29 games. In such games he has averaged 20.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists, his lowest scoring and sacks since his rookie year.
