The Los Angeles Dodgers enjoyed a special night on Tuesday as left-hander and veteran ace Clayton Kershaw tossed seven scoreless innings and picked up his 200th career win, defeating the New York Mets.
But Kershaw wasn’t the only one who enjoyed the fun on Tuesday night.
New slugger JD Martinez, who signed with the team over the winter, went deep twice against the Mets, leading the way on the offensive side with four hits and four RBI in five at-bats.
On Twitter, MLB posted a video of his second homer of the night, which made it a 3-0 game in the bottom of the third inning.

Martinez certainly had a night to remember.
Though it may get lost in the fact that Kershaw picked up a historic win, it was just as important as the Dodgers defeated the Mets by a 5-0 final.
Martinez supplied most of the offense for the Dodgers on Tuesday night, driving in four runs and helping the team even their three-game series against the vaunted Mets.
And he certainly hit the ball hard on Tuesday, as he managed to take one out to center field and another out to right field.
Martinez has hit three home runs to start the season and is hitting for a .271 average in his first 70 at-bats with his new team.
He also has driven in 13 runs and has an OPS of .869.
After several seasons with the Boston Red Sox, Martinez joined the Dodgers on a one-year deal, which appears to be working out just fine for Los Angeles early on in the season.
