Jazz to try out Frank Jackson and Kris Dunn

The Utah Jazz have closed the incorporation of the players Frank Jackson and Kris Dunn under individual agreements for ten days, according to what their agents have communicated to journalists Shams Charania and Chris Haynes.

Jackson, selected in the 31st position of the 2017 draft, has played a total of 213 games in the NBA divided between his stages in Detroit Pistons and New Orleans Pelicans. He previously he had been a star of the high school in the state of Utah.

However, he has played in the G-League this season, in which he has averaged 19.1 points and 2.7 assists with the Salt Lake City Stars, a team affiliated with the Jazz. During the offseason he had signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Suns and the Jazz themselves.

Dunn, 28, was selected fifth in the 2016 draft and spent three seasons in Chicago with current Jazz star Lauri Markkanen. He in total he has played 245 games of normal season for Timberwolves, Bulls, Hawks and Blazers.

He has also played in the Development League this year, specifically in the Capital City Go-Go, a team affiliated with the Washington Wizards. His numbers with them have risen to 16.2 points, 5.3 assists and 2.6 steals per game.

The Jazz had only 12 standard-contract players on their roster after cutting Russell Westbrook and Leandro Bolmaro, so they had until March 2 to meet the NBA’s minimum 14-contract quota.
