The Philadelphia Eagles have already lost way too much this off-season.

Offensive Coordinator Shane Steichen and Defensive Coordinator Jonathan Gannon left for the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals Head Coach jobs, and they could lose James Bradberry, Darius Slay, and CJ Gardner-Johnson.

That’s why they couldn’t afford to lose one of their best players and one of their best guys in their position in the history of this league.

Fortunately for the fans, veteran Center Jason Kelce has announced that he’s coming back for his 13th season, as reported by NFL insider Ari Meirov.

The superstar C reportedly weighed in on his future since that heartbreaking loss in Super Bowl LVII, admitting that he was thinking about retirement.

Now, that means the Eagles will need to sign the future Hall of Famer to an extension.

He was the highest-earning Center in the league last season ($14 million), so it’s unknown whether he’ll take a similar deal, or if he’ll take a pay cut to help the team out.

Kelce has become a signature name among NFL offensive linemen, with some believing he’s the greatest Center of all time.

His ability to block and keep rival headhunters away has been nothing short of elite, and he has shown no signs of slowing down despite his age.

Kelce will enter the season at the fifth position in games played (176) in franchise history, and he has a strong chance of retiring as the all-time leader in that regard once it’s all said and done.
