After an incredible run to the Super Bowl during the 2022 NFL season, Philadelphia Eagles star center Jason Kelce seriously contemplated retiring from the league, as he believed it might be time to walk away from the game after a long career finally.
Fortunately for the Eagles, Kelce ultimately decided against retirement and agreed to return for the 2023 campaign and signed a big new deal to do so.
As he heads into his 13th season in the NFL, the 35-year-old recently gave an update on how he feels heading into what could be his last season in the league.
Eagles C Jason Kelce feels good heading towards 2023 season: “The physical part, knock on wood wherever there is, I’m in pretty good shape for a guy going into his 13th year”https://t.co/F5Jxogd83B pic.twitter.com/rbZvNgTLy0

Kelce has quite the resume as a soon-to-be 13-year veteran of the NFL, as he’s already won one Super Bowl title helping lead the Eagles to their first title in team history in Super Bowl LII.
As a five-time All-Pro center, few players in the game at his position are even in the same category.
He’s undoubtedly one of the best in the game and surely made star quarterback Jalen Hurts a happy man when he announced he was returning for the 2023 NFL season.
There’s no doubt losing to his equally famous and talented brother, Travis Kelce, in the Super Bowl left a bad taste in his mouth.
That loss to the Kansas City Chiefs may have helped drive his decision as a win in that game may have been enough to call it quits, but a loss keeps him hungry for more, even if it is to match his brother’s two Super Bowl titles.
