The Detroit Pistons have closed the transfer of James Wiseman, who arrives from the Golden State Warriors in a three-way trade, reported Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
To get Wiseman’s services, the Pistons send Saddiq Bey to the Warriors, who in turn trade him back to the Atlanta Hawks for five future second rounds of the Draft.
Wiseman, who had not enjoyed enough confidence in the Warriors, has before him a new opportunity to re-engage in the league, since presumably in Detroit he will add quality minutes, and he will do so without as much pressure as in Oakland.
This season he has barely played 21 official games with figures of 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 12.5 minutes per day.
Knox to the Warriors
According to the latest update of the aforementioned Wojnarowski, Kevin Knox sets course for the Warriors in the operation out of Wiseman. The Pistons send the current champion in exchange for the number 2 of the 2020 Draft.
