Jalen Hurts, the star quarterback of the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles, is set to become a very rich man.
He has just agreed to a five-year contract extension that will be worth $255 million to remain in Philly and be the face of the franchise.
Hurts is unique as he is one of just a handful of players to be represented by a female agent, Nicole Lynn.
In fact, Lynn has been his agent since the start of his NFL career.
After Jalen Hurts’ final college game, Nicole Lynn says she reached out to him through an Instagram DM:
“Hey, have you picked an agent? If not, I’d love to link.”

Hurts’ new contract is the richest in NFL history, although the $230 million deal Deshaun Watson signed with the Cleveland Browns last year is still the richest in terms of guaranteed money, as it is a fully-guaranteed contract.
Lynn is the President of Football at Klutch Sports Group, the agency founded by Rich Paul, one of the representatives for NBA superstar LeBron James.
For much of its existence, Klutch Sports has only represented NBA players, but starting in 2020 it branched out into pro football.
Just months after Lynn first offered to help Hurts with his representation, she became the president of football operations for Klutch Sports.
After a college and pro career where he had to deal with being a second-stringer and being doubted by many observers, Hurts had a breakout 2022 campaign with 3,701 passing yards, a 101.5 passer rating, and stellar production on the ground (760 yards and 13 touchdowns).
That passing and rushing production earned him his first Pro Bowl nod.
There will be a little more pressure on Hurts next season because of the departure of Pro Bowl running back Miles Sanders, and some feel perhaps the Eagles will not be the best team in the NFC East anymore.
It will be up to him to prove those doubters wrong, just as he has for the last several years.
