After a tough start to the 2023 season, the San Francisco Giants appear to have found their footing again.
They’ve won seven of their last 10 games, are on a three-game winning streak, and have pulled to an even .500.
One of the key pieces for the Giants this season has been closer Camilo Doval.
The young right-hander has been lights out for the Giants, having saved 13 games in 14 tries.
The 25-year-old picked up his 13th save on Tuesday night against the Minnesota Twins.
With that save, Doval continued to climb an elite list.
He is currently second in the Majors in saves and is only three behind Cleveland Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase.

Other pitchers on the list include Josh Hader, Carlos Estevez, and Felix Bautista.
Hader and Estevez each have 12 saves while Bautista has nailed down 11.
But Doval is having a strong season for the Giants and is right behind Class for the league lead in saves.
Obviously, he is also at the top of the National League in that category.
Cincinnati Reds closer Alexis Diaz and Colorado Rockies closer Pierce Johnson are tied for third in the NL with 10 saves.
Doval has appeared in 23 games for the Giants this season and has posted an ERA of 1.99 in those appearances.
But he has proven to be the National League’s most dominant closer and is already one of the best relievers in the game today.
With the Giants winning more games, it may not be long before Doval catches or passes Clase on the list and takes the lead for most saves in all of baseball.
