The New York Jets are doing their best to build an elite roster through the draft.
Last year they had two first-round picks, and both resulted in the offensive and defensive rookies of the year.
Those two players were Willow Gardner and Garrett Wilson.
Both will be cornerstones in New York for many years to come.
Wilson joined elite company among rookie receivers last year.
His 1,103 yards led all rookies, and that was playing with three different quarterbacks.
According to PFF, he joins a list of other star receivers who led their rookie class in yardage.

The Jets have a good roster in place, with stars on both sides of the ball.
But none of it will matter if they cannot figure out the most important position.
The Jets have been in talks to acquire quarterback Aaron Rodgers for a while.
It would be a major disappointment if Rodgers was not the Jets’ quarterback next season.
Wilson would be able to surpass the 1,103 yards he had last year playing with Rodgers.
He could be in line for a massive season, and be able to flourish with great quarterback play.
The Jets have tried and failed to draft a franchise quarterback.
So they realized that trading for one is their best bet.
Wilson and the rest of the Jets offense will be in for a monster year if they can land Rodgers.
