The Kansas City Chiefs entered Super Bowl LVII as one-point underdogs against the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to Las Vegas, nearly 80% of the tickets and the money were with the Eagles, yet oddsmakers didn’t adjust accordingly.
But regardless of how most people felt about this game, former NFL player Nate Burleson wasn’t buying all the hype.
Instead, the 11-year veteran took Fox to predict the exact score of the game right before it started.
Burleson predicted that Andy Reid was going to pull some tricks out of his bag and we would have an entertaining game, with the Chiefs taking it home 38-35:
“If I had to bet on one man, I’d bet on Andy Reid,” Burleson said. “I do believe he is going to coach his best game that we’ve ever seen. It will be fun, it will be creative, it will be explosive. I have the Chiefs winning this 38–35 and Patrick Mahomes will be the MVP.”

Needless to say, it didn’t take long before dozens of fans took to Twitter to joke about Burleson having the game script beforehand.
I mean, how else would he be able to predict with such unmatched accuracy exactly what was going to happen? The only thing he didn’t tell us was about that controversial late-game holding call on James Bradberry.
Arian Foster’s ‘admission’ of the NFL being scripted prompted a bit of an online revolution, with thousands of fans joking about it over the past couple of weeks.
Script or not, it seems like sportsbooks may want to reach out to Burleson for their pre-game coverage, as that’s most definitely the kind of content sports bettors would want to tune in before placing their wagers.
As for the public, that will most definitely make them think twice before going against Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, regardless of how good of a team they’re going against.
