The Arizona Cardinals have been rumored to trade one of their star players for a while.
Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins does not seem long for Arizona.
He is entering the back nine of his career, and Hopkins is set to make just over $19 million in base salary in 2023.
It seems like a foregone conclusion that Hopkins will be in a new uniform for next season.
According to Pro Football Talk, the Cardinals’ new head coach Jonathan Gannon said the team will do what is best for both sides.

Hopkins has already been granted permission to seek a trade.
It seems likely that is what he plans to do.
Many teams should be interested in Hopkins but for the right price.
Fans from some AFC East teams would love to welcome him aboard.
Send him to Buffalo….

No one will give up a premium draft pick for a soon-to-be 31-year-old wide receiver.
His price tag was once seen as a first or second-round pick, but that may no longer be the case.

Also, Hopkins is going to want to go somewhere he can win.
The Cardinals are set for a rebuild in 2023, especially because quarterback Kyler Murray is expected to miss half the season.
Watch for trade talks for Hopkins as we approach the NFL Draft.
If a team is going to acquire him they will want to do that before draft day.

Hopkins has been a great receiver for a long time in the league.
Expect him to once again put up a great season in 2023 no matter who he is playing for.
