Baltimore Ravens superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson set the Twitterverse ablaze on Monday morning by letting everyone know he told the team to trade him earlier this month.
At this point, it appears Jackson is fed up with contract negotiations with the Ravens, which are going nowhere.
Obviously, this opens the door for another blockbuster trade in the NFL involving an MVP-caliber quarterback.
One team in desperate need of a quarterback like Jackson is the Indianapolis Colts, who have repeatedly failed to fill the void under center since Andrew Luck’s shocking retirement in 2019.

They should wait until after the draft so they send a lower set of 1’s in return. If they get Jackson they will draft in the teens or 20’s and still get a great player with this years 4th overall

With the Colts failing time and time again to find the right quarterback to lead the team in the post-Andrew Luck era, it comes as no surprise that some fans would be skeptical about bringing yet another veteran in rather than drafting a promising young player.
However, Jackson is a former NFL MVP and arguably still one of the best players in the game at his position when healthy.
The only problem with Jackson, whose game involves a lot of making plays with his feet, is he hasn’t been healthy all that much over the last few years, as he’s played a total of 24 games in the previous two seasons.
With Luck ending his NFL career prematurely due to health issues and a revolving door at quarterbacks with veterans ever since, Colts fans being skeptical is warranted.
Recently, the team brought in another veteran in Gardner Minshew, who will try to fill the void momentarily, if not be the backup to Jackson if the Colts can trade for him.
