The Washington Commanders are close to being sold.
Owner Dan Snyder has been set to sell his team for a while, and the NFL pressured him into doing so.
Snyder has been under investigation for many different issues including financial impropriety and sexual harassment.
As we close in on a potential sale, Snyder has made it clear he wants at least $6 billion to purchase the franchise.
One ownership group that is seen as the favorite is led by Philadelphia 76ers owner Josh Harris.
But, another billionaire has entered the conversation as well.
That is Canadian billionaire Steve Apostopolous.
According to Adam Schefter, Apostopolous and his family are in the mix.

This is turning into a heavyweight fight between two billionaire businessmen.

Some Commanders fans don’t care who buys the team, as long as Snyder is out.
As long as his first name isn’t Daniel and his last is Snyder I’m happy

Washington has become one of the laughing stocks of the NFL.
Not only do they rarely win, but their facilities are the worst in the league in many regards.
Whoever the new owners are will have their hands full in reviving this franchise.
Also, it is interesting that a Canadian is interested in the Commanders.
Is it possible that he could move the team to Canada?
I got $20 and that’s probably too much for this franchise

At this point, many fans do not think highly of the Commanders.
So it will be interesting to see if a new ownership group can revive the franchise.
