Baseball is a game that is experiencing a changing of the guard.
With a new season comes some new rules that have been put in place by MLB.
One such rule is a pitch clock, which counts down from 15 seconds when runners are not on base and 20 when there are runners on base.
If a pitcher fails to deliver a pitch in the allotted time, an automatic ball will be called against him.
The same goes for hitters who are not ready within a certain amount of time, as they will have automatic strikes called on them.
On Twitter, MLB posted a hilarious advertisement with famous comedian Sebastian Maniscalco heckling players over the pitch clock.

In the commercial, Maniscalco is hilariously heckling a young pitcher who continues to shake off his catcher and blow bubbles with his bubble gum.
The famous comedian jokes that he could have his passport renewed quicker than this.
He then turns to a child playing first base and asks him what is taking so long.
The kid responds by simply shrugging his shoulders with a visible look of frustration on his face over the slow pace, and possibly even Maniscalco’s heckling.
Maniscalco also states that he has a dance to attend at night before expressing his excitement for the new rules with the kid at first base.
In hilarious fashion, the kid pays him no mind, but Maniscalco makes it clear that he’s excited for a faster paced game and less down time and standing around.
