Eagles HC Comments On Recent Ezekiel Elliott Rumors

Ezekiel Elliott’s days with the Dallas Cowboys will most likely go down in infamy.

He was one of the prime running backs in the game a couple of years ago, but his downfall was as quick and impressive as his ascent.

He’s returned every single year he’s been in the league, and it doesn’t seem like many teams are interested in his services right now.

Still, the former Buckeye reportedly had a wish list of teams he wants to play for, namely the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Jets, and Philadelphia Eagles.

Notably, Jets head coach Robert Saleh already shut down the possibility of making a run at him, and it seems like Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni feels the same way.

When asked about Elliott, Sirianni praised him as an outstanding player.

However, he also said that the team is more than satisfied with their RB room as it is right now.

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as earlier reports stated that the Eagles were unlikely to make a run at Elliott or any other running back, for that matter.

Elliott is coming off a solid season in terms of scoring (12 touchdowns), but his efficiency continued to drop, as it happened every single year since signing that huge extension.

He lost ground to Tony Pollard, and most insiders seem to believe that he doesn’t have a lot left in the tank at this point in his career.

So, will anyone be willing to take a chance on him after years of regression?
