In the summer, the Detroit Pistons made several moves that were aimed at making a competitive leap. Not with their mind set on the playoffs or the play-in, but looking to be a serious team that would be around that tenth position. The start of the campaign was already hard with these expectations, showing a team that lacked cooking. More if possible since Cade Cunningham has been injured. And lowering hopes in Victor Wembanyama’s year means moving heaven and earth to lose as many games as possible. For this reason, in the Pistons environment, the departures of Bojan Bogdanovic and Saddiq Bey begin to sound with increasing force.
The possible transfer of the Croatian player is surprising because he signed his extension with the team at the end of October. But it is not the first time that the forward has been considered to leave the team this season and now Jake Fischer reports in yahoo sportss that the Suns and Lakers would have already asked about him. For his part, Saddiq Bey misses being a third-year player Detroit has already invested time in developing. What happens is that his year has been tremendously disappointing. The obvious potential of him makes him one of the most attractive pieces of the Michigan team and, according to Fischer, the Pistons have begun to take the calls that ask about him when until now it was prohibitive.
