Dansby Swanson Discusses His Cubs Experience So Far

The Chicago Cubs are set to take on their hated rivals, the St. Louis Cardinals, in the London Series, which kicks off tomorrow.

Chicago will have left-hander Justin Steele on the mound and will be opposed by Adam Wainwright.

The series is set to bring some excitement as the game expands its reach.

Dansby Swanson is certainly enjoying his stay in London and is relishing the opportunity to play in a new place for the first time.

On Friday, the star shortstop stopped by MLB Network to discuss his Cubs experience and what he’s looking forward to for this weekend.

Swanson talked about how this is the first time he has ever gotten the chance to experience London.

He says his wife has been to London several times and that on Thursday, the two of them went to Westminster Abbey.

The star shortstop said it also made him appreciate famous historical landmarks around the world.

Swanson also discussed what it’s been like to be a part of the Cubs organization and how different things are from when he was with the Atlanta Braves.

The star shortstop says he’s gotten used to it by now and that he is ultimately grateful for the many challenges life has thrown at him because it has helped him grow as a person.

Now, the star shortstop will have the opportunity to play in a new place and experience London for the first time.

The Cubs come into the London Series having won eight of their last 10.
