The Carolina Panthers have been busy over the last two weeks.

Since the regular season has concluded, they have conducted nine interviews for their head coaching vacancy, including one that was announced earlier today.

Of the nine interviews that the Panthers have conducted, Kellen Moore is the latest name to be announced.

Moore has been a member of the Dallas Cowboys’ coaching staff since 2018, where he has held titles as their quarterbacks coach, as well as their offensive coordinator.

There are five head coaching opportunities across the league, and the Panthers have been the most diligent in their search, as nine interviewees are the most out of the bunch.

Although Moore has significantly less coaching experience than most of the other candidates, the fact that Moore is only 34 years old is something to monitor within an organization.

In the past several years, the NFL has seen young coaches such as Matt LaFleur and Sean McVay find early success, and Moore could very well be another success story.

Whoever takes over as the Panthers’ new head coach will certainly have their work cut out for them.

The Panthers finished the 2022 regular season with a 7-10 record, but have question marks surrounding many important positions, including quarterback, running back, and wide receiver.

The next head coach for this team will need to have a rebuilding mentality, as the team is not exactly filled with star-caliber players.

Who will win the Panthers coaching sweepstakes?

They certainly have a lot of options to choose from.
