On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers completed an epic come-from-behind victory over the Chicago White Sox.

The team trailed by a score of 4-0 as late as the bottom of the sixth inning.

However, the Dodgers didn’t quit and ultimately grinded out an important comeback win.

In the sixth, they had the bases loaded with two outs and Chris Taylor at the plate.

Taylor crushed a grand slam out to left field for his 100th career home run.

In doing so, he made some history.

Taylor is the first player to have hit a grand slam for both his first and 100th career homers, as noted by MLB.com writer Sarah Langs.

In addition, Taylor is the 25th player in Major League history to have hit a grand slam for his 100th home run.

He is also one of 211 players to have hit a grand slam for their first career homer.

But no player in the history of baseball had accomplished both of these feats until Thursday night.

Taylor’s grand slam came in dramatic fashion, as it completely erased the Dodgers’ four-run deficit and tied the game in the sixth.

Freddie Freeman singled to score Taylor in the bottom of the 11th, which ultimately gave the Dodgers the win.

The win helped the Dodgers come to within two games of the Arizona Diamondbacks for the top spot in the NL West.

But it was Taylor’s grand slam that stole the show, and it’s one that will ultimately live on in the history books.
