The most interesting one will be how the rule changes affect the game.
There will be no more shifts, and there is a pitch clock to speed up the game.
Fans should be much more into a baseball game that is constantly moving, and that is what these rules changes are hoping for.
While it may take some time for the players to get used to, the pitch clock should do wonders for the league.
One of the other intriguing storylines is the Los Angeles Angels.
You could argue they have the two best players in baseball on their team in Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout.
Yet, they can never seem to get into the playoffs.
Now that Ohtani is in a contract year, it is even more crucial to have a good season as a team.
The Angels need to entice Ohtani to re-sign with them, and winning can do that.
Lastly, one of the most polarizing teams in the sport is the San Diego Padres.
They have one of the best lineups in baseball and are expected to welcome Fernando Tatis Jr. back at the end of April.
After losing in the NLCS last year the Padres got substantially better.
If they can stay healthy, there is no question they can once again make a push for the World Series.
