The Los Angeles Chargers are trying to put the best talent around quarterback Justin Herbert.

They still have wide receivers in Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Josh Palmer.

But, LA was able to retain another skilled pass-catcher.

According to Jeremy Fowler, the Chargers have re-signed tight end Donald Parham.

This may not come across as a big move, but Parham and Herbert both joined the Chargers together in 2020.

For his career, Parham has 40 receptions, for 479 yards and seven touchdowns.

He best fills a backup tight end role on the Chargers and can play special teams if needed.

It will be interesting to see if the Chargers try to make any other moves at tight end.

LA is undergoing a regime change on offense with Kellen Moore now taking over as OC.

One player that Moore might look to bring in is Dallas Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz.

He would be the best pass-catching tight end that Herbert has played with, and someone that can help over the middle of the field.

The Chargers are hoping to wash away the terrible finish to their 2022 season and start fresh in 2023.

Trying to get back to the playoffs will be no easy task next season, but LA has the pieces in place to do so.

Keep an eye on what they do with running back Austin Ekeler.

The star RB has requested a trade, and losing Ekeler would be a major blow to their offense.
