The New York Yankees can use all the help they can get.
After losing Aaron Judge to the disabled list with a toe injury, the Yankees have struggled to keep up in the AL East.
They have a 43-35 record on the season and are 9.5 games out of first place.
But after an injury-plagued season, it looks like the Yankees are in for some good news soon.
According to Talkin’ Yanks, Carlos Rodon is on track to make his season debut on Wednesday, July 5.

The left-hander was signed by the Yankees this offseason but has yet to debut due to a forearm injury and back problems.
Rodon has always been a talented player when healthy.
In each of the past two seasons, he has finished in the top six in Cy Young voting.
Last year was his best season, recording 237 strikeouts in 178 innings.
The Yankees hope that getting Rodón back will stabilize their rotation.
After Gerrit Cole, they have had nothing but question marks.
Even if the race for the AL East is waning, the Yankees may still be a wild card team.
With Judge’s return unknown, the Yankees may have to rely on their pitching this year.
As usual, you can expect the Yankees to look to make some big moves at the trade deadline.
They have never been shy about trading prospects for players who will help now.
Don’t be surprised to see the Yankees involved near the trade deadline.
