The Jacksonville Jaguars made one of the most underrated moves of last season.
At the trade deadline, they acquired Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley.
He served a full-season suspension last year but has since been reinstated.
Now as a member of the Jaguars, Ridley is looking to have a career year.
He gets the opportunity to play with star quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and that should help his production.
The last time we saw Ridley on the field for a full season was in 2020.
He caught 90 passes for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns.
Ridley has all the talent to be a star wide receiver in the league, and he should get to show that this year.
According to Ari Meirov, Ridley spent the last two seasons getting himself back to full strength.
#Jaguars WR Calvin Rildey says he’s used the last two years to get healthier, faster, stronger and wiser:
“I’m a 1,400-yard receiver with a broken foot. You know what I’m saying? I know I can make the plays and I know that I’m one of the better receivers in this league.”

There is no excuse for Ridley to not be in the best shape of his life.
He could be in for a career season, and could even set a career high in yards.
The Jaguars surprised most of the league by winning the AFC South last year, and even winning a playoff game.
With Lawrence starting to come into his own as an NFL quarterback, the sky is the limit for this Jags team.
Expect to see the Jags deploying one of the top offenses in the NFL next season.
At worst, they should be a playoff team and the addition of Ridley could even help take them even further.
