Bryce Young has been one of the most polarizing prospects ahead of April’s NFL Draft.

Although he won the Heisman Trophy in 2021, many have pointed to his size as a potential concern.

As a result of these concerns, Young has dropped on a few draft boards, with CJ Stroud now likely seen as the first quarterback taken.

Alabama’s Pro Day is here, and, ahead of his performance in this event, Young met with a surprising team.

According to Mike Garafolo, Young recently met with the Las Vegas Raiders.

After releasing Derek Carr, the Raiders signed Jimmy Garoppolo to a three-year, $72 million contract.

The fact that they even met with Young indicates that the team is at least partially interested in him.

With the Carolina Panthers’ eyes likely set on Stroud, Young is likely to be available at the second overall.

Currently, the Houston Texans hold that pick and are widely believed to take a quarterback from this draft class.

Could the Raiders find themselves in a position to trade with the Texans, moving up in the draft?

At least at this point, this does seem like an unlikely scenario.

The Raiders have committed to Garoppolo and signed him to a rather large contract moving forward.

However, Young’s Pro Day could impact his draft stock, in one way or another.

If he doesn’t perform as well as many are expecting, he could fall to the seventh overall position, where the Raiders could snatch him up.

If his performance exceeds expectations, Young could move back in the conversation as the first overall pick.
