The Milwaukee Brewers are hoping to put a second-half collapse behind them and book a return trip to the postseason in 2023.
It was the trading of Josh Hader that sent the Brewers into a tailspin and ultimately cost them down the stretch.
But with several young stars on their roster and a starting rotation that includes Corbin Burnes, Brandon Woodruff, and Freddy Peralta, the Brewers look prepared to bounce back and compete with the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Central.
Brian Anderson, the team’s play-by-play announcer on Bally Sports Wisconsin, likes what he’s seeing out of the Brewers’ young stars and expressed his excitement for what the future may hold for these players.

Three young prospects made their MLB debuts against the Chicago Cubs over the weekend.
The prospects in question were pitcher Gus Varland, outfielder Joey Wiemer, and shortstop Brice Turang.
Varland pitched two innings in relief for the Brewers and allowed just three hits, striking out two batters while walking just one.
Turang had three hits over the three games of the series with the Cubs and drove in a run.
In two games, Wiemer had two hits and scored a run.
Anderson made a rather bold statement and said that this may in fact be the Brewers’ best crop of young talent since the days of Rickie Weeks, JJ Hardy, Ryan Braun, and Prince Fielder in the mid-2000s.
Anderson said that it was exciting to watch several of these stars come up to the big leagues and enjoy immediate success.
