The Lamar Jackson saga continues, with no telling where the superstar quarterback will land before Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season.

Former NFL star Brandon Marshall was at it again on Tuesday.

He believes the Miami Dolphins, who recently recommitted to Tua Tagovailoa, are foolish for not going after the former NFL MVP.

Last season, Tagovailoa flirted with being a legitimate NFL MVP candidate as he had the Dolphins riding high and threatening to come out on top in a highly competitive AFC East division ahead of the Buffalo Bills.

Unfortunately, concussions became a problem for the promising young quarterback out of Alabama, as he had not only his season questioned but his entire NFL career.

With Tagovailoa being a liability in the health department, many believed the team would explore other opportunities at the quarterback position.

The Dolphins’ window of opportunity to win or at least being a perennial playoff team appears to be now, but if Tagovailoa continues to get hurt and remains a concern on the field, that could hinder Miami’s chances moving forward.

As for Jackson, it’s anyone’s guess where he may end up, as there’s still a possibility that things get worked out with the Baltimore Ravens in terms of seeing eye-to-eye on a new contract.

The Indianapolis Colts were the most recent team to throw their hat in the ring, as they have not ruled out trying to trade for the superstar quarterback.

It seems as though Jackson’s future is anything but set at this point, but one thing is for sure, the Dolphins won’t be getting involved.
