The NFL offseason is a time when all teams have optimism heading into the following season.

But one team should be especially thrilled with the offseason they are having.

That team is the Chicago Bears.

It all started when the Bears traded the first overall pick.

They sent it to the Carolina Panthers and got a massive package in return.

Other than just the picks they acquired, the Bears also got back wide receiver DJ Moore.

Moore is a big addition, as he will slide in as their number-one wide receiver.

He is a big-time player, but he has had bad quarterback play throughout his career.

Moore should be in for a career year if Justin Fields can take another step forward.

Former NFL player Brandon Marshall believes the Bears are set for a huge turnaround next year.

Along with Moore, the Bears also added plenty of good defensive players.

Two of the big names they added are Tremaine Edmunds and TJ Edwards.

Chicago is speeding up its rebuild this offseason, and it will still have plenty of draft picks to work with.

Keep in mind that the Bears play in the NFC North.

If Aaron Rodgers leaves the Packers, the Bears and Detroit Lions may be the favorites in the division.

Chicago still has plenty of time to make more moves this offseason.

It also now has the ninth overall pick in the draft.

Bears fans should be thrilled with how this offseason is going, and there is still plenty of time left.
