Adrian Griffin will be the new coach of the Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks already have their next head coach and the chosen candidate has been Adrian Griffin, who was Nick Nurse’s assistant at the Toronto Raptors, sources from journalist Adrian Wojnarowski from the media have confirmed. ESPN.

Griffin will replace the dismissed Mike Budenholzer, who spent five seasons leading the Bucks with a record of 271 wins and 120 losses, winning the NBA champion ring in 2021 after beating the Phoenix Suns 4-2 in the Finals.

Educated at Setton Hall University between 1992 and 1996, Adrian Griffin spent 10 seasons in the league wearing the colors of the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets and one last stay with the extinct Seattle Supersonics.

He hung up his boots in 2008, and from there he went directly to the bench, being a technical assistant for various franchises, such as the aforementioned Bucks, Chicago Bulls, Orlando Magic, OKC Thunder and the Toronto Raptors between 2018 and 2023.
