You probably won’t find more camaraderie in professional sports than in an MLB clubhouse or dugout.

More often than not, players bond and establish deep friendship roots, giving them enough trust to fool and joke around.

It’s part of the so-called team chemistry, an overrated or underrated concept depending on how you view it.

There is a lot of camaraderie on the New York Yankees roster.

We have seen it a lot in recent seasons.

Spring training provides the perfect atmosphere for this kind of behavior.

Players are excited to see each other and get back to work.

Yes, they train hard, but there is always space for some jokes and silly challenges between teammates.

In this sequence seen below, Aaron Judge’s teammates Gerrit Cole and Anthony Rizzo appear to be designating a challenge for the reigning 2022 AL MVP and recently-named Yankees captain.

As you probably can imagine, it’s not particularly easy to hit the scoreboard.

It is usually very far from the plate and doing it requires not only power, but also precision.

It’s batting practice, though, so anything can happen.

If anyone can do it quickly, it’s definitely Judge.

He hit 62 home runs last year and has 101 if we add up his 2021 total to that.

He is a freak of nature, a force with enough power to lead the league in home runs for the foreseeable future.

It’s yet further proof that the friendship between Judge and Rizzo is one of the coolest in the league.

They are connected by lots of things, even the fact that their dogs play together on occasion prior to games.

Rizzo was the one who worked the hardest to convince Judge to stay in the Bronx.

We don’t know if he was the one that made it happen, but he certainly helped.
