Quarterback Derek Carr is now a free agent, as the Las Vegas Raiders have officially released him, and there are going to be at least a few teams interested in his services.
The team most linked to him has been the New Orleans Saints, and they have reportedly already met with Carr in recent days.
Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan has already made a pitch to him on social media.

The Saints had aspirations of making the playoffs this year, especially given how weak the NFC South is, but they fell short of that goal, finishing with a 7-10 record.
Quarterback Jameis Winston was tabbed as their starter when the season began, but he didn’t quite measure up, as he was benched early in the season in favor of veteran Andy Dalton.
New Orleans may not be dripping with talent, but it does have star running back Alvin Kamara, as well as rookie wide receiver Chris Olave.
They are also hoping that wideout Michael Thomas will have a big bounce-back campaign next year after ankle and foot injuries cost him most of the last two years.
Carr may not be an elite quarterback, but he has had his moments over the last several years, and he would certainly be an upgrade over Winston and Dalton.
He had an off-year with 3,522 passing yards and 24 touchdowns on a completion percentage of just 60.8 percent, but he is likely somewhat better than that in reality.
With Tom Brady retired, the NFC South should be even more wide open in 2023, which will give the Saints a golden opportunity to get back on track.
