For the first two weeks of the season, the Tampa Bay Rays sat at the top of MLB’s power rankings.
They had been dominating each and every one of their opponents and won their first 14 games of the season.
However, that streak finally came to an end.
There are no undefeated teams left in Major League Baseball.
That ultimately means that the power rankings for this week look a little bit different.
And so, the Atlanta Braves are now the team that sits at the top of the power rankings.
On Twitter, MLB released this week’s power rankings, which show the Braves at the top after leapfrogging the Rays.

The Rays still sit in the No. 2 spot in the power rankings.
The Toronto Blue Jays, who ended the Rays’ historic win streak, sit in the No. 3 spot, while the New York Yankees come in at No. 4 and the Houston Astros come in at No. 5.
The bottom half of the list features the Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Minnesota Twins, New York Mets, and San Diego Padres, respectively, so many of the same teams from the previous week remain in the Top 10.
A few teams that are notably absent are the Cleveland Guardians, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, and Arizona Diamondbacks.
St. Louis and Philadelphia have both been off to bad starts.
However, the Rangers lead the AL West while the Guardians sit in second place in the AL Central.
The Diamondbacks are currently leading the NL West and the Mariners appear to be heating up.
