This list contains some true NFL legends who were staples of the NFL for many years.
We thought it would only be right to highlight a few of their careers ahead of tonight’s festivities.
Jared Allen played in the NFL for 12 seasons.
He suited up for the Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, and Carolina Panthers.
Allen was a four-time first-team All-Pro and led the NFL in sacks during two different seasons.
He also is tied for most safety in a single season and most career safety.
Allen is 12th all-time in career sacks and is one of the most famous members in Vikings history as well.
Darrelle Revis is one of the most decorated cornerbacks in league history.
He played in the NFL for 11 seasons.
Similarly to Allen, he was a four-time first-team All-Pro, a Super Bowl champion, and a seven-time Pro Bowl participant.
Revis has the NFL record for most passes defended in a single season and was nicknamed “Revis Island” due to his dominance at the position.
Each of these players made their mark on the league in their own, unique way.
While we could certainly highlight the careers of each player, we decided to highlight just two players today.
Tune in tonight, as the newest members of the Hall of Fame will be revealed.
