The Philadelphia Phillies captured the hearts of baseball fans all around the league with their surprising run to the World Series.

Philadelphia won just 87 games and barely snuck into the postseason as the third Wild Card in the National League.

But they took care of the St. Louis Cardinals in the Wild Card round, eliminated the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS, and did the same to the San Diego Padres in the NLCS.

After losing in six games to the Houston Astros, the Phils have been busy this winter.

They’ve been most active in the relief pitching market, having traded for Gregory Soto and signing veterans Craig Kimbrel and Matt Strahm.

They also have Jose Alvarado and Seranthony Dominguez.

On Twitter, MLB Network posted a graphic showing just how dangerous this bullpen could be.

The Phillies may have in fact assembled the best bullpen in all of baseball.

Several of the stats that were pointed out in the graphic are quite eye-popping.

Soto can reach close to 100 MPH on his four-seam fastball.

Alvarado can do the same, but with his sinker, averaging 99.6 MPH.

Kimbrel is an interesting case.

He has struggled with injuries and inconsistencies in recent years, but he held opposing hitters to a .167 batting average on his curve in 2022, allowing just one home run, and Dominguez averaged 97.6 MPH on his four-seam fastball in 2022.

This truly is one of the deeper bullpens in the National League, if not all of baseball, and should be a strength for the defending National League champions.
