This morning, the Philadelphia Phillies gave right-hander Seranthony Dominguez a two-year contract extension.
President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski announced the news of the extension.
The contract also includes a club option for the 2025 season.
Dominguez appeared in 54 games last season for the Phillies, posting a 3.00 ERA and going 6-5 in those appearances.
He also notched nine saves.
The 28-year-old has been with the team since 2018.
He missed the entire 2020 season and only appeared in one game during the 2021 season, but enjoyed a bounce-back campaign in 2022.
On Twitter, the Phillies confirmed the news of the recent contract extension given to the right-hander.

Dominguez was a key piece in the Phillies bullpen during their run to the World Series last season.
He appeared in nine games during the postseason and posted a 1.69 ERA in 10.2 innings of work, while also going 2-0, striking out 18 batters, and posting a 0.75 WHIP.
The 28-year-old emerged as a powerful piece at the back end of the Phillies bullpen late in the season and carried that momentum into October.
Philadelphia won 87 games during the regular season and secured the final Wild Card spot in the National League.
They swiftly eliminated the St. Louis Cardinals in the first round and went on to knock out the Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres in the NLDS and NLCS, respectively.
They fell short in the World Series against the Houston Astros, losing the series in six games.
But Dominguez helped carry them on their improbable run, and the Phillies are fortunate to have him under contract for at least the next two years.
