The Milwaukee Brewers front office has been at the center of controversy since the trade deadline.
On August 1, the team decided to trade former All-Star closer Josh Hader to the San Diego Padres, which drew the ire of the fanbase and shocked the entire baseball world.
This offseason, they have made a few moves, acquiring Jesse Winker from the Seattle Mariners and William Contreras from the Atlanta Braves.
Still, the fanbase is frustrated, as the Brewers have yet to spend a single penny in free agency.
On Twitter, one fan called out the Brewers front office for their lack of activity in the free agent market.
The #Brewers still are the only team in the entire MLB that hasn’t spent a single penny in free agency. And they wonder why this fan base is so frustrated with the front office… #ThisIsMyCrew

Brewers fans have every reason to be frustrated right now.
Dating back to the Hader trade, the Brewers were in first place around the time of the trade deadline.
That move took them out of contention in the NL Central, as the St. Louis Cardinals ultimately ran away with their 13th division title.
This offseason, the Brewers have not been very aggressive and don’t look to be in any position to close the gap with St. Louis.
The Brewers are in fact the only team in all of baseball to have not spent any money in free agency.
Instead, the Brewers have relied on trades to strengthen their team, but the trade for Winker, who had a down year offensively, cost them one of the best defensive second basemen in the game in two-time Gold Glover Kolten Wong.
With spring training approaching, the clock is ticking for the Brewers to make some moves.
