Kawhi Leonard to be examined ‘day by day’

The season hasn’t started too well for the Los Angeles Clippers and their big star Kawhi Leonard. The team has four defeats in six games and the forward has only been able to play two games due to some discomfort suffered in his operated knee. Leonard is coming off a blank season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament. On his return, the player has agreed with the Clippers to restrict his minutes and come off the bench until he is 100%. However, tonight he will be absent again against the Rockets and the medical staff will examine him day by day.

In his only two appearances, Leonard has played just over 20 minutes off the bench, averaging 12.5 points and 2 assists. During the training camp The two-time MVP of the finals was seen with a renewed lower body that exhibited more muscle than normal with the aim of reinforcing the area affected by the injury. With the competition already underway, the player has been seen far from his ideal state, but nothing that time could not put in his place. The Clippers were expecting a gradual adaptation to normality, but for now this seems to be longer than expected.
