Joe Ingles, out since January 30 after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, is closer to returning to the slopes, as confirmed by his coach Mike Budenholzer in recent statements collected by the media. The Athletic.
«I think it would be fair to say that it is much closer. I mean, if he’s already playing with our G League team and doing five-on-five… But you know that to play in the NBA you have to get to a minimum level of conditioning,” Budenholzer explained. “You have to do, I would say, a minimum of repetitions of just playing and doing the things necessary to play an NBA game,” he added.
The Australian, already as a free agent, signed with the Bucks for one season and the veteran minimum. It should be remembered that after playing for 8 seasons with the Utah Jazz he would be transferred to the Blazers at the winter market deadline.
His NBA figures have been 8.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 25.7 minutes per game.
