Milwaukee Bucks player Khris Middleton is very close to completing his debut this season. According to the journalist The AthleticShams Charania, the forward could be available for this Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Fiserv Forum.
Middleton, a three-time All-Star, underwent wrist surgery during the offseason to repair a torn ligament. Since then he has completed a recovery process that has led him to miss the first month and a half of competition. He was recently assigned to the Development League in order to complete the final phase of his rehabilitation with the Wisconsin Herd.
The 31-year-old from Charleston completed a productive 2021-22 campaign before a knee injury sidelined him from the playoffs. His numbers last year amounted to 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 32.4 minutes.
For their part, the Bucks have had a good start to the season, even with Middleton and summer signing Joe Ingles in the infirmary. Their current 14-5 record is second best in the NBA.
