Rockets and Raptors will be the first to meet with VanVleet

Fred VanVleet’s future seems to be clearing up shortly before free agency begins. As reported by journalist Marc Stein, the 29-year-old point guard will begin the process by meeting in person in Los Angeles with both the Houston Rockets and the Toronto Raptors, a team in which he has spent his entire career so far.

After declining his player option worth $22.8 million for the 2023-24 season, the guard point he wants to sign a big long-term contract, just what they seem willing to offer him in Texas.
