Just when everyone thinks that Shohei Ohtani can’t improve, the opposite is true.
Once again, he impressed many in the game with another epic night.
But Tuesday night’s game was special.
He drew the Los Angeles Angels’ start against the Chicago White Sox and gave the Halos 6.1 innings, allowing just one run on four hits while walking just two batters and recording 10 strikeouts.
Plus, he went 3-for-3 at the plate with two home runs.
In the end, the two-way superstar earned the win for the Halos as they improved to 44-37 on the season and edged out the Houston Astros in the AL West.
Over on Twitter, Codify took note of Ohtani’s truly impressive night.

It’s no secret that Ohtani is one of the best players in all of baseball.
He is arguably the best player in the game today, and on Tuesday night he showed why, dominating on both sides of the ball.
Both of his home runs were solo shots.
Ohtani earned AL MVP honors in 2021 after hitting 46 home runs.
Last season, he finished second in the voting behind Aaron Judge.
This time around, he seems poised to chase another MVP award and add to his impressive resume before hitting the free agent market.
Ohtani is now 7-3 with a 3.02 ERA in 95.1 innings of work as a pitcher and has recorded 127 strikeouts.
As a hitter, he already has 28 home runs and has driven in 64.
Ohtani is also hitting .304 with a 1.040 OPS.
He continued his torrid pace Tuesday night on the mound and at the plate, putting together a truly unforgettable game.
